State v. Mr. T. (DMC No. 10137)

DRIVER’S LICENSE REINSTATED (DUI and multiple driving on suspended license violations) – State v. Mr. T. (DMC No. 10137) (Phoenix City Court 583025102/North Mesa Justice Court 0309071/Payson Justice Court TR-2002001278): Mr. T. was a local homeless man in Phoenix when he made national news when he found a backpack containing ($3,300). He turned the backpack in and the money went back to the college student who had lost his student loan money. He was featured in People magazine as a “Hero Among Us”, and was praised for his honesty. DM Cantor took on Mr. T.’s case Pro Bono (for free). We made sure all terms of his prior probation were satisfied and we reinstated his driving privileges. He now lives in an apartment and holds steady employment. He works as a landscape maintenance supervisor and works for free at the homeless shelter helping others.

State v. Mr. H. (DMC No. 10593)

DRIVER’S LICENSE REINSTATED – State v. Mr. H. (DMC No. 10593) (Arizona MVD): Mr. H. had four prior DUI’s in the previous 13 years.  Once he had completed his three years of license revocation without driving, we assisted him in getting his license back.  We sent him to a psychologist, who produced a report indicating Mr. H. was safe to drive.  We also showed the MVD Hearing Officer that Mr. H. had not driven or drank since the date of his last DUI.  His license was ultimately reinstated.

State v. Mr. T. (DMC No. 6751)

DRIVER’S LICENSE REINSTATED – State v. Mr. T. (DMC No. 6751) (Arizona MVD): Mr. T. had three prior DUI convictions some years earlier, and his license was revoked for 3 years.  After the 3 years were up, we assisted him with the driver’s license Reinstatement Hearing, by getting him with a psychologist who interviewed him and produced a report that stated he was now safe to drive.  We also presented proof that Mr. T. had not drank since his last DUI, nor had he driven.  His license was ultimately reinstated.

State v. Mr. S. (DMC No. 9907)

DRIVER’S LICENSE REINSTATED – State v. Mr. S. (DMC No. 9907) (Arrowhead Justice Court No. TR2009-102771): Mr. S. had previously been convicted of a DUI and his driver’s license was suspended for a period of 1 ½ years. He needed to have his license reinstated in order to seek viable employment. We sent him to a doctor who our firm utilizes in order to have him screened for alcohol abuse issues. We then prepared his packet with the DMV, submitted it, and were able to have Mr. S’s license reinstated.
