Manistee Justice Court

Arrested in Arizona? Call Today for Help!

If you received a ticket for DUI or a misdemeanor criminal offense and were directed to go to the Manistee Justice Court, this means you were arrested by DPS or the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. If the arrest was made by a city police officer, your case should be handled by city court.

David Cantor reviews the Manistee Justice Court and it’s presiding Judge:

The jurisdictional boundaries of the Manistee Justice Court are Cactus Road to the North, Camelback Road to the South, I-17 to the East and West 91st Avenue to the West. This jurisdiction is not a perfect rectangle. If you were stopped, cited and instructed to go to the Manistee Justice Court, contact DM Cantor. Skilled attorneys will make sure the arrest was made in the appropriate district. The case can be thrown out if you were not within legal boundaries.

The Manistee Justice Court is located at 14264 West Tierra Buena Lane in Surprise, AZ. Or, West Statler and Tierra Buena Lane. It is inside the Northwest Regional Court Center, which contains around six different courts.

There is free parking in front of the building. Be sure to dress appropriately for court. Do not wear any hats, sunglasses, shorts, tank tops or similar casual clothing.

The judge is Donald Watts. Most people serving as a Justice of the Peace (JP) did not go to law school. They have no legal background. These judges won a popularity contest and were elected. After six weeks of training, they are sent to sit on the bench and judge cases. Most people would not be comfortable going to a surgeon that only has six weeks of training.
