EXTREME DUI (.160 BAC) REDUCED to a REGULAR DUI with 1 DAY in JAIL – State v. Mr. B. (DMC No. 6355) (Arcadia Biltmore Justice Court TR06-50004CR): Mr. B. was seen travelling 58 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was subsequently pulled over for the speeding and not having a license plate displayed. Eventually he was arrested for DUI and produced a .160 BAC. Due to questionable issues regarding the stop, we were able to have the case reduced to Regular DUI with 1 day in jail. Originally, Mr. B. was facing 10 days in jail as a minimum Extreme DUI penalty.
