REDUCED | DUI (0206260CR): A DPS Officer claimed that Ms. V. had an accident sometime prior to police arriving on the scene. When the police did arrive, she was out of the car and engine was off, with the car parked. We filed a Motion based on Lack of Corpus Delecti (claiming that the police could not prove she was the actual driver, nor the time that the driving occurred), and the County Attorney’s Office offered a plea to Reckless Driving with zero days in jail.
