DISMISSED | FALSE REPORTING TO A POLICE AGENCY – State vs. Mr. D. (DMC No. 10045) (Peoria City Court No. CR2010-001537): Mr. D. was suffering from various mental delusions when he called police in order to report that he had been attacked and mutilated by an unknown assailant in his garage.  He told police that this person had also attacked him a year earlier at a Walmart and that this person had been watching him for over a year.  He was eventually charged with False Reporting to a Police Agency, and was facing up to 6 months in jail.  After numerous medical records were obtained and he was put through various psychological counseling, we were able to convince the prosecutor to defer all prosecution and charges were Dismissed.
