NOT GUILTY/COMPLETE ACQUITTAL at BENCH TRIAL | ASSAULT – State v. Mr. V. (DMC No. 4525) (Phoenix City Court 3016206): Mr. V. had a tumultuous relationship with his ex-wife. She had accused him of putting a gun to her head, and assaulting her in the past. She now stated that he grabbed her by the throat and punched her as he was dropping off the kids from visitation. We were able to show that she was making up allegations in order to secure child custody. At trial we showed that the physical evidence did not match with her allegations. The Judge found Mr. V. not guilty of all charges.
