REDUCED | DRUGS FOR SALE (6 kilos of marijuana) REDUCED to HINDERING PROSECUTION with PROBATION and ZERO DAYS in JAIL – State v. Mr. H. (DMC No. 9821) (Maricopa County Superior Court CR2010-141585): Ms. H. had been dating her boyfriend and living with him. Unbeknownst to her he was selling marijuana from their apartment. She arrived home from work and police were executing a search warrant. They arrested her for possession of drugs for sale (above threshold), and she was facing mandatory prison time. We then got involved in her case, and we were able to show that she was unaware of all the goings on at the house. We were able to reduce the charge down to a simple “hindering prosecution,” which involved probation and zero day’s jail.
