REDUCED | Felony Possession of a Narcotic Drug, State v. Mr. D. (DMC No.7231) (Maricopa County Superior Court No. CR 2003-032967): Mr. D. had possessed a forged prescription and had obtained prescription drugs from a Walgreens. He subsequently was charged and fled the state, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Approximately 5 years later he was arrested and needed to deal with the charges. We were able to convince the prosecutors that he was now a completely different man than he had been 5 years earlier, and they agreed to offer a plea to a misdemeanor of Solicitation of Narcotic Drugs. He was able to go back to California without this affecting his job or his career.
