Mr. P had been drinking with friends prior to going to ASU’s “Undie Run”. Several thousand students were at the “after party” and a band was playing on stage. Mr. P responded to a dare, hopped up on stage and was immediately thrown down and arrested. The Arizona State University Police Officers claimed that he struggled and had kicked them.
When Mr. P woke up in Jail the next day, he had no recollection of what had occurred. The ASU Student Judicial Affairs Office were seeking to suspend or expel Mr. P under Arizona Board of Regents Conduct Code 5-308(F). We were able to convince the Assistant Director of ASU’s Student Life to allow Mr. P to do some alcohol classes and counseling. He was allowed to finish School, and then he successfully finished Graduate School.
