Manny Alemany was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has always had a passion for criminal law starting from when he participated in mock trial at Brophy College Preparatory. This passion influenced his decision to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice when he attended Arizona State University, while simultaneously earning an honors degree from the Barrett Honors College.

Manny earned his Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. While in law school, Manny worked here at DM Cantor as a law clerk in which he gained firsthand experience on a wide variety of cases ranging from misdemeanor DUIs to felony murder. During his law school tenure, Manny also became a Certified Limited Practice Student through ASU and the Maricopa County Public Defender’s clinic and personally represented a multitude of individuals at a variety of hearings with positive outcomes, including completing a misdemeanor DUI trial. 

Manny now works here as a Criminal Defense Attorney with a primary focus on pre-charge cases, representing clients being investigated for major felony crimes, plus he handles a multitude of charged misdemeanors.  

In his free time, Manny enjoys working out, watching sports such as basketball and UFC, and playing golf, pickleball, and chess.
