Shelby McMullen

Shelby McMullen grew up in Aurora, Illinois, before moving to Tempe, Arizona, in 2020. Despite never having visited Arizona before, she and her sister decided they disliked the cold and chose one of the hottest states in the country for their move. Following their relocation, her husband and entire immediate family joined them in Arizona a year later.

Before moving to Arizona, Shelby earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Waubonsee Community College. Immediately after graduation, she was hired by The GEO Group, where she monitored ankle monitors for criminal offenders. Upon deciding to move to Arizona, she transferred within The GEO Group and began working at Phoenix West, a private prison. After five years there, she sought new opportunities and eventually joined Cantor Law Group.

In her free time, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family. She has been with her husband for eight years, and they have a one-year-old son named Everett. Weekends are often spent with her parents and siblings, rotating between houses for backyard BBQs. Coming from a family that loves the outdoors, she also enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time at the lake.
