Jonie Pretto

Jonie Pretto is an Arizona native, who was born and raised in Tucson before moving to Phoenix to attend college at ASU. She graduated May of last year with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish. In the past, Jonie has taken public service roles interning as a Troop Leader for Girl Scouts then working full-time as a 6^th grade English Language Arts teacher post-graduation. She has transitioned into the legal field to pursue her degree interests and continue working for the community.

Jonie recently joined DM Cantor as an administrative assistant with the goal of deepening client interactions by being their first point of contact. Her friendly demeanor and empathy allow her to work closely with others to assist them with whatever struggles they may be facing. Her primary responsibilities include answering client calls, collecting intakes, scheduling appointments, and organizing documentation. Her role at the firm ensures that daily procedures are running efficiently and that both clients and attorneys have their needs met.

On her free time, Jonie enjoys creative arts such as singing, dancing, and writing poetry. She is an enthusiast in weightlifting and yoga, and is active when she has the time to do so. She currently lives with her partner and 2 dogs and often visits her hometown to spend time with loved ones.
