Christopher McCabe was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. After graduating from Pitt, he received his Juris Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA in 2015, and then immediately passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam. While in law school, Chris was a member of Dickinson Law’s Moot Court and National Trial Teams. He became licensed to practice law in Arizona in September 2022.
Before joining DM Cantor, Chris spent most of his legal career as a Public Defender in Pennsylvania, representing clients at every stage of their legal cases. He is an experienced litigator, having secured numerous favorable outcomes for his clients, including dismissals, reduced sentences, and complete acquittals after jury trial. His trial experience encompasses both felony and misdemeanor offenses, including homicides, sex crimes, violent crimes, drug crimes, and vehicular crimes. Chris has also tried cases involving complex technical and scientific principles and expert testimony, including cell phone metadata, cellular forensics, and DNA. Chris also has significant experience representing individuals suffering from mental health and substance use disorders.
In his free time, Chris is an avid runner. He has completed numerous road races from 5ks to marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2018 and 2021. He lives in Phoenix with his girlfriend, dog, and four cats.

- Obtained acquittals at numerous Jury Trials in Pennsylvania on felony and misdemeanor allegations including Rape of a Child, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Assault, Strangulation, Endangering the Welfare of Children, and Stalking.
