SUPER EXTREME DUI (.203 BAC) REDUCED to REGULAR DUI with 1 DAY IN JAIL – State v. Mr. S. (DMC No. 5540) (Maricopa City Court CR2005-017): Mr. S. was stopped by an officer for allegedly going 55 in a 45 mph zone. He was subsequently arrested for super extreme DUI and produced a .203 BAC. We investigated the area in which Mr. S. was pulled, and discovered that it was actually a 55 mph zone. Due to the issue with “no reasonable suspicion to stop” Mr. S., we were able to negotiate a regular DUI plea with only 1 day in jail instead of the 45 days in jail Mr. S. was originally facing.
