Hi, How Can We Help You?

Stan Wruble

Attorney

Stan Wruble has been a lawyer since 1997.  He has represented clients charged across the spectrum of alleged crimes – misdemeanor through murder – in both state and federal courts.  He has tried more than 60 cases to jury verdict.

Prior to joining DM Cantor, Stan practiced law in Chicago and Indiana.  After a major trial victory in Chicago, he was asked by renowned law professor Steve Lubet to teach Trial Advocacy at Northwestern University Law School.  In addition to his criminal defense practice, Stan taught aspiring attorneys how to try cases for 7 years.  Stan also taught for 5 years at his alma mater, Notre Dame Law School, teaching both trial advocacy and advanced criminal law.

Stan attended Valparaiso University on an academic scholarship.  He was the first person from his family to graduate from college in 1994, magna cum laude.  He was awarded a scholarship and then graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 1997, with honors.  While in law school, Stan worked in the Legal Aid Clinic and Moot Court.  As a law student, he was also successful in convincing the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn a criminal conviction.

Stan is married with two children and two dogs, Chloe and Omar Little. While hiking camelback mountain with his then-pregnant (and much tougher) wife, they decided to move to Phoenix.  He enjoys hiking (whether or not his wife is pregnant), mountain biking, running, yoga, travel and bocce.
