Originally from Minnesota, Payton moved to the Phoenix area in 2019 to attend Grand Canyon University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology. She went on to receive her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University. She developed a strong passion for both human behavior and criminal law.

During her graduate studies, Payton served as a Course Assistant for undergraduate students at ASU. She also has experience in the legal field working as a Criminal Courtroom Assistant for the Superior Court in Maricopa County.

As a Paralegal at DM Cantor, Payton brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic. She draws from her courtroom experience to effectively support both clients and attorneys.

Outside of work, Payton enjoys soaking up the sun—whether by the pool, out on the lake, or at a beach. She also loves taking walks, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
