Daniel was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Criminology and Sociology.  From a young age, Daniel was determined to attend law school and pursue a career as a trial advocate.   After college, Daniel worked with a large firm in Columbus, Ohio, primarily dealing with class action asbestos litigation.   After working as a law clerk for a year, Daniel relocated to the Phoenix area to attend the Arizona State University College of Law.  

Daniel first began practicing criminal defense through the Public Defender clinic at ASU.  He then started representing clients with pro bono appeals through the Arizona Justice Project.  After graduating from law school, Daniel began to practice both criminal and family law in the Phoenix area.  Daniel worked for another Phoenix firm, practicing primarily felony criminal defense for almost 10 years, before starting his own practice.  He has successfully handled cases involving everything from murder, sexual assault, aggravated assault, drug sale and possession to DUIs, domestic violence, trespassing and criminal traffic matters.  Daniel is driven to protect the rights of his clients and to ensure that each client’s case ends with the best possible outcome.  

Outside of work, Daniel has devoted much of his time to coaching, playing sports, and weight training with his son, Chase. Following the loss of his son, Daniel continues his legal career with DM Cantor as a Criminal Courtroom Coverage attorney. He brings nearly twenty years of criminal defense experience to his role supporting the firm’s criminal defense team. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys weight training and golf.
