Benjamin, a native Arizonan, earned both his Bachelor of Arts and his Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Arizona. While in law school, he represented veterans accused of crimes as a certified limited practice student in a specialty court specifically for veterans. This experience motivated Benjamin to focus on criminal law and trial work for the remainder of law school and throughout his career. During his third year of law school, he gained valuable court experience as a certified limited practice student at the Pima County Attorney’s Office where he handled bench trials for misdemeanor cases.

After law school, Benjamin served as a prosecutor at the Pima County Attorney’s Office where he handled misdemeanor cases. Later, he prosecuted public benefits fraud cases at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office before joining DM Cantor to help people successfully navigate the complex criminal justice system. Benjamin brings his prosecutorial experience to help people understand both the strengths and weaknesses of their criminal case. And he focuses on each person and their unique circumstances to best serve each client.

When not practicing law, Benjamin enjoys reading and discussing non-fiction, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their two miniature schnauzers.
