Elisabeth Ori

Family Law Attorney

Elisabeth Ori is a compassionate and results-driven family law attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most personal and complex legal challenges. Her practice focuses on divorce, legal decision-making and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-decree matters. Elisabeth is committed to guiding clients through emotionally difficult transitions with clarity, strength, and practical solutions tailored to their goals.

In addition to her family law practice, Elisabeth brings valuable experience in estate planning, probate, and estate administration. This complementary background allows her to effectively address issues that frequently overlap with family law matters, including asset division, long-term financial planning, and protecting clients’ and their children’s futures. She offers a comprehensive perspective that is especially beneficial in high-asset or complex cases.

A certified mediator with formal training in alternative dispute resolution, Elisabeth strives to resolve conflicts efficiently and amicably whenever possible. She is skilled at managing sensitive family dynamics and reducing unnecessary conflict, while remaining a strong and strategic advocate when litigation is required.

Elisabeth began her legal career in Chicago, Illinois, in civil litigation, representing clients in insurance defense matters and gaining extensive courtroom experience. She later broadened her practice to include family law, estate and probate matters, corporate, and real estate, and ultimately founded her own firm. Her diverse legal background provides her with a well-rounded understanding of the financial and legal complexities often present in family law cases.

After being admitted to the Arizona bar in 2021, Elisabeth practiced with a litigation firm handling complex cases, including medical negligence and product liability defense, further refining her advocacy skills. She now focuses her practice on family law, while continuing to draw on her experience in estate and probate matters to provide clients with thorough and forward-looking legal guidance.

Elisabeth believes that effective family law representation goes beyond resolving disputes and is about helping clients move forward, protect what matters most, and build a stable future. At DM Cantor’s Family Law Practice, she is dedicated to delivering thoughtful counsel, personalized attention, and strong advocacy at every stage of the process.

Outside the office, Elisabeth enjoys spending time with her four (almost) grown children, practicing yoga, and staying active outdoors. She is passionate about supporting the arts, discovering new restaurants, and traveling. A lifelong Chicago sports fan, she also proudly cheers for the Phoenix Suns.
