Fox 10 covers the Lisa Randall death penalty case is dismissed by Maricopa County Rick Romely after a reinvestigation was suggested by Arizona Criminal Lawyer David Cantor. After looking back into the case, originally pursued by former Maricopa County Attorney and current candidate for Arizona Attorney General Andrew Thomas to have Lisa put to death, Mr. Romely decided that the facts of the case did not back up the prosecutions allegations of first degree murder.

Talks about how 3 years ago the county brought up death penalty charges on a baby sitter of over 20 years. Maricopa County Attorney decided to review the charges with an independent investigation at the behest of Arizona Criminal Attorney David Cantor. Medical review shows that they baby had no trauma from any kind of head wounds. Civil lawsuits may be filed against the Peoria Police Department and the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
